KhmerCare, which had its soft launch in June 2022, offers a wide range of local causes, including health and medical expenses, education and community development, and disaster relief. The platform's focus on transparency and accountability ensures that 100 percent of donations go directly to the cause and that every donation has a direct and meaningful impact.

Last month, Heang Lyhour turned to KhmerCare for support in his fundraising efforts for knee surgery. The young Cambodian, diagnosed with Osteochondritis Disease (OCD) on both knees, aimed to raise $12,000 to cover the cost of the surgery. With the help of his friends and colleagues, the campaign went viral, surpassing its goal with more than 300 donors supporting Lyhour's personal cause.

“This groundbreaking event marks the first successful crowdfunding campaign on KhmerCare, showcasing the power of the platform to help individuals overcome challenges they may face alone,” said Path.

The top campaign on KhmerCare to raise $1 million in support of Team Cambodia athletes is a truly exciting moment for the country as it gears up to compete in the first ever, historic SEA Games 2023 to be hosted in Cambodia. With this crowdfunding initiative, anyone from anywhere can play a part in supporting our talented Team Cambodia and cheer them on to success. The funds raised will be used to upgrade Team Cambodia’s equipment, footwear, training and increase the cash reward for medal winners.
